Sasga Yachts reports that has implemented all recommended preventive measures and activated a more restrictive protocol to avoid any risk

In compliance with Art.10.2 of RD 463/2020 which declares the State of Alarm for the management of the health crisis situation caused by Covid-19

With the aim of minimizing the contact´s risk related to the CORONAVIRUS COVID-19, Sasga Yachts reports that it has taken all the measures recommended by the official bodies to avoid any risk of contagion among employees and that it has been activated an operating protocol to take the utmost precautions.

 

The Menorquin Shipyard is really aware of all the information published by the Ministry of Health and maintains daily contact with the Mutua Balear and the Previs' Occupational Risk Prevention Service to act according to the guidelines that are been established. Likewise, the company is in constant communication with all employees to act in conformity to the new indications, in order to inform and reassure the entire staff.

 

In addition, Sasga Yachts informed all its dealers and clients of the measures implemented among its employees to be able to develop its activity and continue with the normal operation of the Shipyard, under the exceptional circumstances we are involved.

 

In this regard, it must be emphasized that all efforts are being focused on preventing and reducing any risk in the production plant in order to avoid its stoppage, due to the consequences that may result from this measure. Hence, Sasga Yachts reports that there has been no case of infection in the company.

 

PROTOCOL OF ACTION AMONG EMPLOYEES OF SASGA YACHTS

 

a.    Cleaning Reinforcement. Daily disinfection of common areas such as dining rooms, toilets, floors, stairs or handrails.  

b.  New Business Hours. From 08:00 to 15:00 h to avoid the lunch break at the company´s premises and, at the same time, to contribute to the reduction of commuting.

c.     Teleworking has been activated among employees who can perform their duties from home.

d.    All hygiene and cleaning utensils have been provided.

e.    All employees are provided with disinfectant gel.

f.      All workers are provided with Personal Protective Equipment.

g.     All workers wear approved masks and gloves during the working hours.

h.   All employees are provided with cleaning products to sanitize tools; computers and other tools used during the working hours.

i.    Employees have been informed about how to put on and take off their gloves correctly and how to disinfect shoes and other utensils when they arrive at home.

j.      Access by outsiders has been restricted. Information signs have been posted at the workshop entrance for our suppliers to let them know how to proceed, since access to our facilities is prohibited.

k.   Information posters have been placed in different parts of the building to ensure that employees know and act according to the stipulated hygiene and prevention measures.  

l.      We own over 11,000 m2 of facilities for about 50 workers. Employees must keep 1 - 2 meters’ distance between them.

m.  Managers carry out constant supervision to ensure that the established prevention measures are followed.

n.  The company has issued an official certificate to be presented to the State Security Forces in case to be requested during travellings from home to work.
