Sasga Yachts exhibited the latest improvements at the Barcelona Boat Show, celebrated from the October 9th till 13th. There were three models on display: a Menorquín 54 FB, a Menorquín 42 FB and a Menorquín 34 HT.

Nowadays, the Sasga Yachts official dealers for Spain are Hermanos Guasch, Nautic Center Menorca, Nautic Viamar and Nautic Center Mallorca.

In fact, Barcelona was the best boat show to introduce the unique Menorquín 54 FB. The yacht has been designed following costumer’s needs, as well as the high-quality materials used, and the electronical navigation devices installed. The result: a functional boat with an exquisite elegance, a new navigation concept.

In 16.5m length, the Menorquín 54 FB is a magnificent cruise that has added larger fuel tanks, which means more hours of navigation without refueling and higher performance.

Sasga Yachts installs cutting-edge technology to plan the navigation route and anticipate any unforeseen event. This Menorquin 54 FB includes Garmin electronics connected to Yanmar engines, which allows to consult any engine information on the plotter. It is a highly intuitive system with touch controls, traditional probe and scan support, integrated nautical charts and maps, network functions and Wi-Fi connectivity.

In addition, the generator installed is Onan Cummins 11 kw because of the upgrade of the tropical chiller system air conditioning. Sasga Yachts also took the chance of installing Humphree interceptors as they have superior ability to add lift force to greatly reduce resistance in the water, add speed, improve acceleration and visibility at the helm station. The client will feel safe aboard while he is enjoying their cruising.

Another remarkable improvement is the new Flybridge access’ design, with more comfortable stairs and wider access. The aft appeal is more modern due to the new access door to the cockpit made on stainless steel and fiberglass and the handrail without wood all around.

Material and interior design

The comfort layout version includes 3 cabins, doing each space a special environment making the guests feel at home.

The galley has been integrated into the bridge. It has a new faucet and has opted for White Carrara marble for the countertop, high quality material that stands out for its strength and durability.

The Master cabin, located at stern, has been provided of sofa and chest; the Vip cabin at the bow has a double bed; in the case of the guest cabin, twin beds have been chosen.

All cabins have an en-suite head with a separate shower, an option that improves the habitability of the boat and provides more privacy for each compartment, which allows the stay to be more comfortable and pleasant.

All sofa’s upholstery is white with blue trim. For the headboard’s upholstery, dark blue color has been chosen with sewing forming large frames, for the Vip cabin blue and white edging and for the white guest cabin with red trim. The bedding is marine style and design.

For interior cabins, honeycomb pleated and adjustable curtains have been chosen in the windows and gates at both the upper and lower levels, since it incorporates a guide mechanism, it is the most versatile and adaptable system, which results perfect for a boat.

The head has a new faucet and a new design in the shower screens. The sinks present an elegant and minimalist aesthetic. It has also opted for white Carrara marble for the toilet closet. In the interiors, indirect lighting has been chosen on ceilings, floors and stairs, as well as inside the Master cabin, in this way a warmer atmosphere is achieved, and greater prominence is given to the space.
