Sasga Yachts brings together delaers from all over the world in Menorca

Sasga Yachts has held its first Dealer Meeting in Menorca attended by dealers from around the world to learn about the news of the Shipyard for the next season.

 

The event, which took place on June 20 and 21, has been a pleasant experience, both for the organization and for the attendees, who in addition to participating in the work days organized by the Shipyard, have been able to enjoy the heritage and gastronomy of the island.

 

During the first day, the assistants have known in situ the work that develops the workshop during a visit to the facilities of the Shipyard, where those responsible for the process of infusion of the helmet have shown the operation of one of the most characteristic aspects of the Sasga Yachts, its hull, much more developed and designed to improve the performance of navigation and reduce consumption, allowing a cruising speed of between 12 and 18 knots and can reach 23 knots if necessary.

 

After knowing the news in which the marketing department works and that will be announced during the next season - after incorporating the contributions of each of the dealers - all attendees could enjoy a journey aboard a 54 Menorquín the port of Mahón until reaching a privileged environment such as the Lazareto, a sanitary fortress of the seventeenth century built on a small island.

 

It has been this wonderful enclave chosen to present the design improvements that will incorporate the different Sasga Yachts models and that give more autonomy and comfort to the boats. Among other aspects, highlights the shift to starboard of the wheel of the rudder and all electronic devices, in order to improve the navigability and maneuverability of the boat.

 

During the second day, suppliers Volvo, Garmin, Quick and Camber Marine as a distributor of Humphree stabilizers have made presentations on the latest technological aspects that will incorporate Sasga Yachts to their models and that will allow an increase in benefits by incorporating deposits of larger fuel, an important improvement in the planning of the navigation route or a much more effective stability.

 

The objective of the conference was to strengthen the distribution network of Sasga Yachts and provide new tools that may be useful for the marketing and promotion of boats.

 

In this sense, the assessment by the organization is very positive, given that the experience has been enriching and has been a very good opportunity to strengthen the link between the different markets in which Sasga Yachts is present, as well as create new synergies that favor the communication and coordination of actions between the different markets in which the brand is present.

Currently Sasga Yachts works with more than 15 countries, with a presence practically all over the world. Of these 15 countries, its main market is in Europe, although in the last 10 years it has managed to attract the attention of countries such as the United States, Australia or Japan. Thanks to the consolidation of the traditional market and the opening and expansion of the brand, nowadays, the Shipyard of Sasga Yachts employs more than 60 people in the workshop.
