The engines in a boat are a fundamental part, that is why, from Sasga Yachts we offer you a series of advices that will help you in the care and maintenance of them.

For the care of your engines, you should bear in mind that they should be analysed according to the number of hours of operation or time elapsed after start-up, so we recommend that you observe this information on the displays in order to carry out the maintenance operations indicated in the user manual of the engines.

To avoid engine problems, we advise you to run the engines for at least two hours every two weeks if your boat is at sea. You should also check the coolant levels (coolant, oil/ oil temperature and pressure) and the condition of the cooling taps.

We also advise you to carry out a bi-monthly inspection of the connections and wiring to the batteries, and to check that the output voltage and condition of the batteries are in optimum condition.

These suggestions for the care of the engines of your Menorquín are part of the maintenance indicated in the manual of each of the equipment delivered with the boat and must be put into practice for the optimum preservation of the boat. We also advise you that all maintenance work should be carried out by the professional team of your trusted boatyard and/or the technical service in your sailing area.
