On September 8th, at the iconic Port Saint Pierre in Hyères, the Club Menorquin France was officially constituted, a new association that promises to bring together Menorquin boat owners to share their passion for sailing and unique boats.
The first general assembly served as a framework to formalize the statutes under the 1901 law, define the objectives of the association and elect the members of the executive committee that will guide this exciting initiative.
A Club for Menorquin enthusiasts
The main mission of the Club Menorquin France is to create a space for Menorquin boat owners to share technical knowledge, collaborate on maintenance issues, and organize outings in the Mediterranean waters.
At the assembly, Pierre Coureil, proud owner of a Menorquin 34HT since 2021, was appointed as president of the association. Alongside him, a committed team of board members was formed, each bringing their nautical expertise and passion for the Sasga Yachts brand.
Goals and next steps
Among the objectives highlighted by the association are:
- Technical collaboration and mutual support: members will be able to share experiences on maintenance and improvements to their boats.
- Nautical events and meetings: along the lines of the successful 2023 meeting, the Club is committed to organizing at least one annual outing, where members can enjoy sailing together.
- Digital platform: the creation of a website will allow members to keep informed about events, news and practical sailing tips.
A growing community
The creation of Club Menorquin France is excellent news for Sasga Yachts. We are delighted to see so much enthusiasm and a real commitment to the passion that owners have for our boats.
This new Club is not only a meeting point to share knowledge and experiences, but also an opportunity to strengthen the connection between owners and the brand.
The Club Menorquin France is already sailing in full swing!
